There are many developers who claim to be contemporary. But there are a few that truly are. At Decardi Development, our homes speak volumes for our architects' style and reputation. There is a true minimalistic appearance and feel when you visit any of our homes. Our clients are a select few who truly understand this modern concept, and we go to lengths to ensure that we deliver such a product.

Decardi homes are built GREEN and meet LEED and Energy Star certification. We design everything around this concept. Throughout the building phase, we are graded by an independent LEED certifying agency to ensure that we meet all the stringent criteria for certifcation. Many builders claim they are GREEN, but have no such certification. Our architects are LEED certified as well.

From low flow faucets and other amenities, to LED lighting throughout the home and lanscaping, you will notice significant savings in energy costs. It is thus no surprise that our projects have received industry recognition and awards in recent times.

Project Recognition & Awards

The American Institute of Architecture (AIA), Houston, featured our "Mount Vernon" project on it's 2013 Annual Home Tour.

The "Mount Vernon" project was one of seven projects representing the finest in residential architecture featured on the tour. All seven projects were selected by a jury of industry experts.

Also, the "Mount Vernon" project received a Merit Award, the 2013 Builder's Choice and Custom Home Design Award, from Builderonline.com; a premier media, event, information, and strategic marketing services company serving the residential and commercial design and construction industries.

Terraces at Palm Townhomes

The Terraces at Palm, our current project is underway, and is slated for completion in February of 2015.

Located in Houston's Museum District, and minutes to downton attractions like shopping, entertaining and dining, this project features 6 contemporary townhouse style homes.

As with our other projects, the "Terraces at Palm" highlights contemporary and LEED designs that is complimentary to the urban experience and lifestyle that residents will have in the Midtown and Museum District area.

Features on this project include exterior Brazilian IPE wood accents, Low-E double glazed windows, Low flow Hansgtrohe faucets, Rinnai tankless water heaters, Thermador Professional Series appliances, and low water requirement Zoysia grass with sprinkler systems.
